Grown at ~6,000 ft in eastern Nepal’s Dhankuta district, this organic tea is made from the very first plucking (mid-March 2023)—“virgin” leaves that preserve special compounds after winter dormancy. Hand-withering on bamboo mats and hand-rolling are followed by gentle machine drying and slight oxidation (~20%) for a welcome sweetness.
A tippy “green” with strong honeysuckle aroma and floral, orchard-like notes, plus a subtle muscatel lift—intense on the palate and beautifully lingering.
Brew: use 3g (generous rounded tsp) per 6 oz of spring water heated to 175–185°F, steep 3 minutes. Enjoy hot or let it cool for a refreshing “cold” cup.
